NYE parties that probably won’t be lame

I am a bit nervous this year because I am letting my boyfriend plan all of New Year’s Eve and I am seeing a ton of ridiculously awesome parties roll into my inbox. I’m usually the planner here and giving up the reins is a bit frightening, but it’s nice to change it up for once! And yet, since I have no idea what my boyfriend will pick, I wanted to share with you all the parties that will likely be a great time, just in case you haven’t already gotten something planned. 😉

Air’s X Tokyo Record Bar

I went to TBR for the first time last week and absolutely loved it (see my last blog post for the amazing 7 courses we had)! I can only imagine that their NYE party would be just as amazing if not 1000x better than a normal visit. Just check out the description:

NEW YEARS EVE

This time, we are going all out!

@Air’s X Tokyo Record Bar

If you attended last year, or any of our parties for that matter, you would know that we get a little crazy, so tuck in.

THE PARTY 9pm-2am

(127 MacDougal Street)

Upstairs, Champagne Social

Downstairs, Sake Bomb Karaoke

Wander between up and downstairs all night. There will be surprises, a dance party, someone WILL break something (last year it was our neon sign courtesy of Air herself) and of course there will be endless flowing champagne and sake.

Tickets are $140 + Tax & Service
Going fast!

Sushi by Bou

This place recently came under my radar due to the fact that it’s a speakeasy sushi place hidden within a hotel room. Sound cool right? Now just imagine NYE there. I will also be extremely jealous that you got to go here before me ;p

The Beekman Hotel

I am already eyeing the Beekman for next year’s celebration (when I get to plan ;)) because I heard they throw a massive amount of balloons and confetti over the banisters of their top floor and let it drift down in the atrium. Sounds like a pretty magical setting for a NYE kiss to me. Plus, they have a lot going on this year, even a little show…

The Beekman NYE Celebrations

The Illuminati Ball

This just looks epic.

The King’s Winter Masquerade

A NYE party from the same folks who did Sleep No More? Don’t mind if I do.

Sleep a little less.

These are the best of the ones that I’ve noticed so far, but keep an eye on my Instagram for any updates to this post. 😉 Here’s to a fantastic 2019!
